A little bit about me
Who are you?
I’m Mark. Nice to meet you.
What do you do?
I’ve worked in IT support for several years now. The little bit of time I get to myself is spent hacking about with various bits of hardware, and coming up with new ways of making my life a little bit easier.
So what interests you?
Far too many things really.
I love walking and exploring some of the beautiful parts of this country. I hope to be able to overlay my tracks on a map on here some time soon.
I enjoy photography, and take my camera with me when out walking. You can see some of my photos here.
I’ve re-ignited my passion for electronics with Arduino, and have started playing around with some embedded linux hardware.
I keep chickens. They normally turn a dull day in to a chaotic one.
Sarah and I try and grow a lot of our own veg, although the chickens usually try and stop us.
We have had a very productive year in the kitchen, and made various jams, pickles and chutneys. Our chorizo is still a work in progress.
So what’s this site all about then?
It’s just somewhere for me to make notes about things I’ve done. Some of it may interest you, some of it may not – I’m not the world’s most interesting person, but do hope you find bits of the site useful!
